Popups and Popup Blockers

A pop-up window is a browser window that opens up from another web page that is being displayed. Popups in the Internet jungle can be a real nightmare as they tend to appear when you really don't want them to and they are constantly advertising stuff you really don't want to see. Because of this most browsers now block popup windows by default. Many users have also installed additional software that blocks these types of requests.
The L.A.W.S./Pro application uses popup windows to communicate requests to the application server in the background and to perform other functions. This enables you to work faster and smarter because you don't have to wait for server responses before continuing. It also uses them to present things to you like printed reports so that you can remain on a specific page in your main browser window while you view a report in another.
L.A.W.S./Pro is so dependent upon the use of it's popup windows that it cannot function without them. While it is a good thing to prevent most websites from displaying popups, it is imperative that the L.A.W.S./Pro application be allowed to popup new windows when it needs to. Fortunately almost all popup blockers allow you to unblock popups for a specific website. You will need to do this for the L.A.W.S./Pro website and we promise you that the privilege will not be abused.
